Abstract

Introduction/Background This video presents the robotic technique for SLN technique in a 36-year-old woman who was referred to our center for re-staging surgery due to differed diagnosis of HGSOC (FIGO IA)

Methodology We injected 0.5 mL of dilute indocyanine green solution (1.25 mg/mL) subperitoneally into the left utero-ovarian and infundibulo-pelvic ligament stump. The SLN was checked with the fluorescence-guided camera of the Xi DaVinci robotic system.

Results 30 minutes after the injections, 2 pelvis and 3 para-aortic SLNs were identified, and dissection was performed. After dissection, the node was extracted and sent to pathology for evaluation by ultra-staging.

Conclusion SLN sampling appears to be feasible in presumed early-stage ovarian cancer.

Disclosures None.
