Abstract
Introduction/Background To analyze trends in cancer morbidity for vulva cancer (VC) in Uzbekistan in view of its affect elderly women with involutive-atrophic changes.
Methodology The statistical indicators were taken from Form 7 ’Information about the disease of malignant tumors’ of 2018–22 years and served as data for analyse the prevalence of vulva cancer (VC).
Results VC incidence rates in Uzbekistan calculated by age and place of residence in 2018–22 years. Totally 369 patients with VC have been registered, 61 in 2018, 70 in 2019, 71 in 2020, 74 in 2021 and 93 in 2022, of which rural women are 33, 40, 40, 47 and 57 respectively. According to the age patients were registered as follows: in 2018 - from 36 to 55 years old - 21 patients, 56–70 years old - 24 patients and 16 patients are older than 70 years, in 2019 - from 35–55 years old - 13 patients, 56–70 years old – 31 patients and older than 70 years old – 26 patients, in 2020 - from 18 to 35 years old - 2 patients, from 36 to 55 years old -18 patients, from 56 to 70 years old - 37 patients, older than 70 years old - 14 patients, in 2021- from 18 to 35 years old – 5 patients, from 36 to 55 years old – 14 patients, from 56 to 70 years old -31 patients, older than 70 years old – 24 patients and in 2022 from 18 to 35 years old -5 patients, from 36 to 55 years old - 21 patients, from 56 to 70 years old – 34 patients and older than 70 years old – 33 patients were registered.
Conclusion Timely diagnosis of vulva background and precancerous diseases will reduce the number of patients with VC.
