EP197 Nipple skin sparing mastectomy by conventional laparoscopic single port: about four cases

Abstract

Introduction/Background To assess the feasibility of laparoscopic single port for prophylactic mastectomy before immediate reconstructive surgery.

Case report Two patients with proven BRCA1 mutation underwent for nipple skin sparing mastectomy using an anterior axillary line all descriptive data, a step by step technique is described exposure the removal of the gland and at the end, the positioning of trocars.

Results Those two cases of bilateral mastectomy are analyzed the 2, 5 cm incision is done in the anterior axillary line the first step is done classically with cold scissors until all the outer quadrant of the breast is free the alexi is positioned and the mini-Gelpoint of Applied two insuflation is done to 8 mm Hg we used classical non curve instrument of laparoscopy no need for energy removal on the gland is easy at the end, an implant is set in the cavity easily.

Conclusion This innovative technique of nipple skin sparing mastectomy is feasible without compromising operative time and aesthetics results.
